LISA MAKES HISTORY

On Wednesday October 23rd CELINE took to Twitter to announce that Lisa had become the newly appointed face of CELINE as the first ever Global Ambassador for the luxury French fashion house. The appointment itself brought with it a few other "firsts" for the 23yr old K-pop idol.

Lisa is the first ever personality to have been tapped by Hedi Slimane for the exclusive role, and she is also the first ever K-pop idol to nab the coveted position, adding to her growing list of "first to" checklist created by fans.

News of Lisa's new role with CELINE spread like wildfire as CELINE also announced the long awaited news on their Instagram and Facebook pages. it is as one would say was, bound to happen, as Lisa is known to be seemingly close friends with Hedis right hand man, Peterr Utz as well as Hedi himself.

Magazines and Social Media wasted no time in congratulating Lisa and CELINE as Lisas fan across the globe race to their nearest CELINE stores to buy what Lisa is wearing, often selling out whatever she is doing at the time.

With a couple one of them reaching 1M tweets and all of the ht's were trending together and #.CELINEAmabassadorLisa peaking #1 on World Wide Trending, a feat that is seemingly natural for a celebrity of Lisas caliber given her largely non kpop affiliated fanbase.

It came as a surprise to many of Lisa's fans that she has been a longtime fan of CELINE having purchased her first ever CELINE belt bag when she was just 15yrs old, to which she used to carry her goods to their debut stage as Blackpink back in 2016. So the relationship between herself and the luxury French house has deeply embedded ties as Lisa further commented,

"To me, ‘CELINE’ is unrivaled, and Hedi Slimane has such a multifaceted talent from clothing design to photography. He creates a rare, incredible, and desirable world through his vision. I’m always inspired by his work. It’s truly an honour and pleasure to be able to work with Hedi as ‘CELINE’s first ambassador.”

It is no secret that Lisa is considered to be one of the most fashionable young people in the spotlight to date, as she seemingly enjoys wearing pieces that reflect her own personal style.

As Magazines Worldwide revel in the obvious choice of Hause Global Ambassador, fans are anticipating more flawless work from the well loved collaboration between Lisa and her close friend, Hedi Slimane.

When Lisa was at Paris Fashion Week late last year, she was recorded out to dinner with Hedi, Peter and Miles. Lisa had just parted ways with Hedi after a hug before walking towards Miles who at the time was holding the car door open for Lisa as Peter waited in the car.

As the image shows below, it is no surprise that Lisa was able to easily form a close relationship with the men as she possesses one of the most humbly grounded personalities to date; a trait that has seen her garner private friendships with fellow kpop idols, as well as over 39M adoring fans Worldwide.

CELINE also welcomed Lisa to the LVMH family as Lisa is also the Ambassador for BVLGARI Korea.
