The beginning of the dream

We all know the story of Lisa and how she had desired to be a Kpop Idol in South Korea. This all became real when she left her home Thailand and moved to Korea at the age of 14yrs old after surviving a gruelling audition successfully beating 3,999 other trainee hopefuls.

Lisa then made the move to South Korea on her own to become the first ever foreign trainee with the entertainment company, YG, where she stayed for 5 years as she honed and perfected skills in dance, rap, singing and songwriting where Lisa was said to have been graded A's across the board as it was later revealed by her Blackpink member Jennie.

August 2016

It was at this time that the inception of Blackpink was presented to the World, much to the delight of fans across the world. The much anticipated reveal of YG's new girl group resulted in PAK (Perfect All Kill) with their debut track; Whistle.

Whistle topped the Gaon Digital Chart and Boombayah (from the same single album Square One) became the groups first number one hit on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart.
